Real Madrid defender set to return against Liverpool

Sergio Ramos has reportedly planned his comeback from injury for their visit to Liverpool later this month.

The Spanish international was forced to withdraw from the national side’s upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers through injury which he suffered in the 5-0 weekend win over Athletic Bilbao.

Ramos will now face at least two weeks on the sideline but according to Spanish daily AS – will return against Liverpool in the Champions League on October 22.

The former Sevilla man will also be fit in time for the following game which is against Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu.

The reigning European champions lead Group B of the Champions League with six points, whilst Liverpool and Basel are joint second on three points.
