Arsenal braced as PSG star wants out

Arsenal and a whole host of clubs have been put on red alert after Paris Saint Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye admitted his unhappiness at the club.

Cabaye joined PSG in January from Premier League side Newcastle United but he has failed to hold down a regular first team place, struggling to find better form than the likes of Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta.

The French international has now admitted his frustrations, leading to a number of top European clubs to show interest.

Arsenal are extremely keen, having shown interest in the midfielder on numerous occasions whilst he was in England, whilst Man United also hold interest.

“To be honest, I am not happy,” the midfielder told L’Equipe. “This is new ground for me and I’m not complaining, as I’ve never complained because it’s not in my nature.

“The only thing for me to do is to show what I can do.

“But sometimes it’s not easy. I’m 28; I’m not just starting out. I will not change my style of play now.

“But there is a coach in place here and I must respect his decisions.

“I have the character [to cope] and the goal is to show on the field what I know I can do.”
