Former Arsenal midfielder offered to Prem rivals

Football Express News understands that Alex Song of Barcelona has been offered to three Premier League sides.

The Cameroon midfielder was in action for his national side against Costa Rica on Friday night, but whilst he concentrates on their campaign; his future at club side Barcelona is continuing to be discussed.

Song, joined Barcelona from Arsenal in 2012 but has failed to break his way into the starting eleven, due mainly to the fact that Sergio Busquets has cemented the central midfield role.

That has led the 26-year-old to be linked with a summer move as new boss Luis Enrique plans to make several changes to the Camp Nou squad.

And, it is understood that Song has been offered to three Premier League clubs – Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Chelsea, who have just signed Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona in a £30m deal, could be in line to sign Song after John Obi-Mikel edged closer to an exit.
