Man United star: I want Ronaldo back at Old Trafford

David de Gea has admitted that he wants Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Manchester United, according to Goal.com.

Ronaldo has been in superb form for Real Madrid this season but constant reports in both Spanish and English press have cited that the Portuguese international could be on his way back to Manchester United next summer.

The likelihood of that move happening looks uncertain with Madrid seemingly unwilling to sell their prized asset, but it has not stopped the likes of United keeper David de Gea from discussing the potential move.

“Of course I would like Cristiano Ronaldo to come to Manchester United,” De Gea told Goal. “But I think it’s difficult.”

De Gea, who has been in superb form for United this season, also discussed the arrival of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria, who have settled in at the club.

The United goalkeeper added: “They have adapted quickly, both scoring and supplying assists. They will make us better as everybody knows how well they did in Spain [with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid respectively].

“I hope they score a lot of goals for Manchester United.”
