Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba has turned down a return to Chelsea and agreed terms with Italian side Juventus.

The 36-year-old is currently on international duty with the Ivorian national team in Brazil, but his future has been heavily discussed in Italian, Turkish and English media of late, with many predicting a return back to Chelsea.

A player-coach role had reportedly been offered by his former club, but it is understood by Turkish media Hbbhaber.com that Drogba has now agreed terms to play Champions League football with Italian champions Juventus next season.

The report further goes on to add that Drogba will sign a two-year deal worth £4m.

The striker who scored 15 goals in 37 Super Lig matches last season, will be hoping to help the Turin side to a Champions League success next season, using his experience, having won it with Chelsea.
