Blind: Players are enjoying life under Van Gaal

Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind has said that he and his team-mates are ‘enjoying’ working under boss Louis van Gaal.

The Dutchman has widely considered one of the most fierce coaches in football, but Blind, who joined the club from Ajax this summer has said that the players are now getting used to his personality and are starting to feel comfortable with his as coach.

United have initially struggled under Van Gaal but the added signings of Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria are starting to improve results, seeing the Colombian international score the winner against Everton on Sunday.

“I think the players are getting used to it,” Blind told Manchester Evening News. “The players like to work with him. Everyone is picking it up very well.

“Training is very hard and very serious and we improve every day and you could see that in the first half against Everton. We have seen that in the first half but now we have to see it over 90 minutes. The play is better though.”
