Wilshere trains ahead of Galatasaray match

Jack Wilshere has trained ahead of Arsenal’s Wednesday night Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

The 22-year-old was initially a doubt for the Champions League clash after picking up an ankle injury during his side’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

However, scans and medical tests have since discovered that his injury was not as bad as first seemed and therefore – he has resumed training with his team-mates.

Aaron Ramsey will miss out, having been ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury, whilst Mikel Arteta is out for two to three weeks through a calf injury.

Young duo Hector Bellerin and Isaac Hayden trained with the Gunners first team on Tuesday and could be placed on the bench against the Turkish giants, whilst Abou Diaby is not ready for a first team start.
