Former Chelsea defender had dismissed reports that he could be set to leave Roma and insists that he is enjoying life in Italy.
Cole, who joined the Serie A giants this summer after seeing his contract at Chelsea come to an end has settled in well with Roma, but conflicting reports have led to the former England international to answer questions regarding his future.
During which, he stressed that he has no plans to make a quick exit from the Stadio Olimpico and says that he enjoying life in Italian football under boss Rudi Garcia.
“I love to play in Italy and I love Italy, the players are technically different because we play with pace and our coach [Garcia] is very good,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
“He encourages us to play well and I like that a lot. I like the Premier League but also where I am.
“The decision to leave [Chelsea] was not wrong. Those eight years for me were important, but now I am a Roma player.
“I could play better than I am currently, of course, if I get the chance to play more games.”
