Liverpool striker Rickie Lambart has claimed that Adam Lallana will start to prove his worth at the club in the coming weeks.
The former Southampton midfielder has struggled with fitness this season but has since returned to the starting eleven under Brendan Rodgers and despite question marks over his performances – former Saints team-mate and fellow Liverpool star, Rickie Lambert believes now is the time the England midfielder will come through.
“He’s going to bring a whole new dimension to the team,” Lambert told Liverpool’s official website. “He was unlucky to get injured at a vital time in pre-season. No player likes to get injured at that time.
“He’s come back and he’s looking strong. He’s only going to get stronger. He’s missed out on a few weeks, and there’s nothing he can do about that.
“But his attitude has been first-class in training. He’s been desperate to get back. That extra strength and that extra speed will come back over the next few weeks and you will be seeing the best of Adam Lallana, without a doubt.”
