Spanish star set to ignite Arsenal and Liverpool interest

Real Madrid midfielder Isco is attracting serious attention from Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 22-year-old has struggled to feature consistently for the Champions League winners and competition for a midfield place was increased further with the summer signings of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez.

Both clubs had an interest in Barcelona winger Pedro, who has since been linked with a switch to Italian champions Juventus, meaning Isco could finally make the move to England in January for a fee of around £24m.

The former Malaga and Valencia player almost made the move to England in 2013 when Manchester City rivalled Madrid for his signature, only for Isco to choose his current employers.

Reports suggest Manchester City may rekindle their interest in the player if he becomes available with manager Manuel Pellegrini having managed the player at Malaga.
