Ronaldo discussing Man United return with friends

Cristiano Ronaldo is discussing a potential return to Manchester United with friends, Football Express News understands.

The Real Madrid forward has become unhappy once again at the Spanish club due to several reasons and a return to Old Trafford has gained ground in recent weeks.

Ronaldo, who helped guide the Spanish capital side to a Champions League win last season is said to have been upset by the sales of Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and Xavi Alonso in recent seasons.

Added to that unhappiness, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports show Revista de La Liga that everything is in place for his return to Manchester.

“He is unhappy and he’s said so – but then he corrected himself by saying ‘I didn’t mean what he said’. It was a bit confusing. Anyway, you have to say he’s not happy that Ozil left and he didn’t like the fact that Xabi Alonso and Di Maria left.

“He has this idea, I think, that at Real Madrid he is doing a job and he is working, but he enjoyed himself almost like a kid at Manchester United. He dreams of going back to Manchester United and Manchester United have got all the finances in place to get him.

“I have a pretty good idea of when he wants to go. It won’t be this month or next month, but he wants to go back to Manchester United and everything is in place for him to return to Old Trafford.”

That has now led to Ronaldo discussing the possibility of a return to United with his closest friends, explaining that he has unfinished business in England and would like to join the ‘revolution’ under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
