Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that the European champions must ‘start from scratch’ after they lost 4-2 to Real Sociedad last weekend.
The European champions have had a stuttering start to the season, having narrowly won their La Liga opener, before surrendering a 2-0 lead against Real Sociedad last weekend, losing 4-2 at San Sebastian.
The Basque side ensured that Madrid now sit three points off league leaders and rivals Barcelona after just two games.
And, Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti, who guided Los Blancos to a Champions League and Copa del Rey win last season has insisted that his side must start a fresh and move forward.
“We must start again from zero,” Ancelotti said at a coaches meeting in Switzerland.
“Something will have to change. We need to try something new. But I have faith in the fact that we can come back well after this defeat.”
