Tottenham Hotspur are set to complete the signing of defender Federico Fazio from Sevilla.
The North London side have broke an agreement with the Andalusian club of £8m for the Argentine defender, activating his release clause.
Fazio is set to arrive at White Hart Lane on Wednesday morning and will replace Michael Dawson after Spurs sold their captain to Hull City.
The 27-year-old has been in superb form of late for Sevilla, impressing to gain the interest of the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
Spurs moved to sign the Argentine after their chances of signing Villarreal central defender Mateo Musacchio.
Following Dawson out of White Hart Lane could also be Vlad Chiriches, Sandro, Paulinho and Lewis Holtby.
