Campbell keen to impress at Arsenal

Arsenal forward Joel Campbell believes he has all the right qualities to thrive in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old returned to the North London club this summer after a number of loan spells in Spain, France and Greece and following a good World Cup with his country – Costa Rica, he is fully expected to hit the ground running this season at the Emirates.

Linked with a summer move from Arsenal once more, Campbell is firmly expected to stay after Arsene Wenger made several comments regarding his future at the weekend.

And, the youngster believes he can thrive in the Premier League this coming season.

“I am very happy to be here,” he told Arsenal’s official website. “It has been three years on loan at different clubs but finally now I can settle in here. I want to prove what I am capable of.

“The Premier League is different to the leagues I’ve played in. It’s a very physical competition where the ball goes very quickly from one box to the other, but at the same time I am part of a team that puts a passing game into practice.

“Arsenal has great players and the kind of football we play suits my style. I’m at a very competitive club with many top-class players in the squad.”
