AC Milan are ready to approach Arsenal for Joel Campbell after allowing Mario Balotelli to seal a deal with Liverpool.
Italian striker Mario Balotelli arrived in Liverpool earlier this week for discussion and is now close to completing his move to Liverpool, leaving AC Milan with a huge gap in striking options for next season.
But, it is understood by several sources that boss Fillipo Inzaghi is ready to approach Arsenal for striker Joel Campbell, who has been impressing in recent seasons – on loan with Real Betis and Olympiacos.
Arsenal had been keen to keep hold of Campbell but boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen to listen to Milan’s offer.
Milan are understood to be willing to pay Campbell’s wages and secure him on a season long loan deal.
