Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has reportedly informed Juventus that he would be willing to join them this summer and take a wage cut.
The Colombian striker has returned to full fitness in recent weeks after missing his country’s World Cup campaign in Brazil, but his future with Ligue 1 side Monaco remains in doubt as the transfer window edges closer to its closing days.
Falcao, who has been strongly linked with a move back to Spanish capital Madrid where Real Madrid have maintained their summer interest, is said to be unhappy with Monaco’s business in this current window and is seeking a quick exit.
Whilst Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti waits on Angel Di Maria to leave the club, Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly made contact with Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes over a move.
Mendes has played an important part in Falcao’s career moves, gaining large transfer sums and a good contract for the striker where he has played.
But, it is understood that the former Porto and Atletico Madrid star has told the Turin club that he would take a large pay cut to make a summer move.
The news will no doubt spur Real Madrid to sell Di Maria, who has been subject to a summer bid from Manchester United and make a move themselves.
