Manchester United target Daley Blind has admitted that he could leave Ajax but refused to be drawn on links with the Premier League club.
The Netherlands defender has been strongly linked with a summer exit from Dutch giants Ajax, with both Barcelona and Man United heavily linked.
The interest comes off the back of a successful World Cup campaign which saw him play a big part of Louis van Gaal’s Dutch side and it has been heavily mentioned that he could link up with his former boss at Old Trafford this season.
Officials representing Blind were at Old Trafford on Saturday to watch the opening day defeat to Swansea City and hold more discussions with United’s hierarchy regarding a move.
But, Blind has refused to be drawn in reports linking him with a move to United.
“I have nothing to report. I’m happy here,” he told reporters.
“Certainly I don’t need to leave and I am happy with all the support. But if a nice club comes, then we’ll talk. And then we’ll see.”
