Morgan Schneiderlin does not want to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer after changing his mind regarding leaving Southampton.
The French midfielder has been heavily tipped to follow the likes of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw out of St.Mary’s and was linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, following the arrival of Ronald Koeman as manager of the Saints and their first Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday; the midfielder has ‘changed his mind’ according to the Dutch boss.
“He’s a player of Southampton,” Koeman told reporters. “He changed his mind, he changed his mentality. He showed us that last week – he’s a key player.”
Southampton tested Liverpool on Sunday with new signings Graziano Pelle and Shane Long causing Brendan Rodgers concern on the opening day.
