Argentine forward Di Maria has been strongly linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer after his time at the Spanish club became uncertain following the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
Di Maria was hit hard by Spanish press following his backing for compatriot Lionel Messi, whom he called the ‘World’s best player’ during the tournament in Brazil.
Those comments angered Madrid president Florentino Perez and team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and a move to Paris Saint Germain has since developed.
