Liverpool are set to announce the double signing of Javier Manquillo and Alberto Moreno this week.
According to heavy reports in Spanish press, Liverpool have agreed a fee with Sevilla for Spanish defender Alberto Moreno, whilst a loan deal for Atletico Madrid’s Javier Manquillo has also been reached.
The Reds who are now returning home from their US tour are hoping to announce the double signing later this week, following a successful medical for Manquillo on Monday morning.
Originally Sevilla had asked for a figure of £18m for Moreno, but it is understood that a fee of £16m has been reached and that Liverpool have issued a five-year contract to the Spanish international.
Chief executive Ian Ayre worked hard to capture the two Spaniards and the club are now keen to announce their 8th and 9th signings of the summer
The Anfield club have already spent £90m on six players this summer – Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Dejan Lovren, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic and Divock Origi.
