Manchester United and Liverpool will face off in the final of the International Champions Cup in United States.

    Brendan Rodgers’ side waited to see the outcome of Manchester City’s tie with Greek side Olympiakos on Saturday evening and they were awarded a spot in the final after Manuel Pellegrini’s side lost on penalties, whilst Manchester United beat Real Madrid to set-up and all-English ICC final.

    The match on Tuesday will give Louis van Gaal face Premier League opposition and have a chance to beat their old rivals.

    United qualified for the final with wins over Real Madrid and Italian side Roma, whilst victory over Inter Milan on penalties saw them top their group and reach the final.

    Meanwhile, Rodgers’ side beat Olympiakos and Man City, and face AC Milan early on Sunday morning.

    The final will kick-off at 01:00 BST on Tuesday August 5.
