Samuel Eto’o may stay in London with West Ham

Samuel Eto’o could set to remain in London after being offered the chance to play for West Ham United.

The former Chelsea man has been linked with plenty of European clubs since he left Stamford Bridge at the end of last season, but his latest offer from West Ham United could see him remain in the Premier League.

The Cameroon international is understood to have been in negotiations with the Hammers on Monday and informed them of his £100k per week demands.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to sign another striker after Andy Carroll suffered a injury, thus leaving him short.

Juventus and Queens Park Rangers are also said to be interested in the former Inter Milan and Barcelona forward, whilst West Ham have also made initial enquiries about Joel Campbell of Arsenal.
