Real Sociedad set to complete Esteban Granero deal

Football Express News understands that Real Sociedad have agreed a fee for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Esteban Granero.

Spanish midfielder Esteban Granero arrived on English soil back in 2012 from Real Madrid but little did he expect to be relegated from the Premier League in his debut season at QPR.

A spell in the Championship then saw him make a loan move to Basque side Real Sociedad where he made four league appearances, missing the remainder of the campaign through injury.

But, despite his poor fitness, La Real have remained keen and are now ready to announce his signing, agreeing a fee with QPR of around £2m.

Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has been in London to discuss the move and it is understood that a four-year contract has been agreed.
