Serge Aurier is set to sign for Paris Saint Germain after seeing his hopes of joining Arsenal fade following their signing of Mathieu Debuchy.
The Ivorian right-back had a superb season for Ligue 1 side Toulouse last term and he followed that up by performing well for his country at the Brazil World Cup last month.
Interest in the 21-year-old has been heavy in the last couple of weeks, with the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan and Arsenal all showing interest.
The latter had signalled the defender as a possible replacement for Bacary Sagna, who left the club for Manchester City in June.
However, their signing of Newcastle United defender Mathieu Debuchy last week has seen Aurier’s hopes of a move to North London fade.
However, the youngster is now set to join Paris Saint Germain and is understood to have flown to the French capital on Wednesday morning to agree terms.
PSG will reportedly pay around £8m for the full-back and are set to announce his move later this week.
