German World Cup winner Toni Kroos has arrived in Spain ahead of his move from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid, according to Spanish daily AS.
The midfielder has been linked with a summer move since last season ended, gaining the interest of Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid and it is the latter who have all-but confirmed a deal to sign the 24-year-old.
And, following his country’s World Cup winning celebrations in Berlin, it is understood that Kroos has already arrived in Germany, holidaying in Mallorca, before making a move to Madrid.
Kroos is thought to have said goodbye to his Bayern team-mate who were part of the Germany side and will sign on the dotted line in the coming days.
Kroos avoided speaking with press upon arriving at Palma airport, but it is understood by AS that he did accept a baby’s Madrid kit from one photographer.
