Football Express News understands that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been informed by the agent of Arturo Vidal that he will join Manchester United this summer.
The Juventus midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to United this summer with some reports claiming that personal terms had been agreed, however, the recent weeks have seen a move stall after problems over a transfer fee and personal terms emerged.
That has since led to numerous other clubs to show interest, hoping to promptly take advantage of any mishaps by United officials.
Doubts over a move have been more present this week with numerous media outlets in Italy and England stating that a deal was off.
But, according to our sources, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is certain that Vidal will join United after speaking to Fernando Felicevich during the signing of Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez and Vidal, both Chilean, share the same agent and it is understood that Wenger made enquiries as to the situation regarding the latter whilst completed his move for Alexis.
Our sources claim that Wenger was told Vidal would join United but he would be kept informed should the situation change.
Premier League rivals Liverpool are also said to be interested.
