If you love Chelsea’s charismatic boss Jose Mourinho, you will be seeing a whole lot more of him if you are subscribed to Sky’s BT Sport.

Ahead of his 2014/2015 domestic and European campaigns with Chelsea, the Portuguese has signed a three-year deal to act as ambassador for the channel which will see him involved in various capacities from punditry to advertising campaigns.

Since Mourinho’s return to Chelsea last summer many football fans including neutrals have welcomed him back, saying the Premier League had missed his larger-than-life character along with his arrogance and spats with opposition managers and players.

He rekindled his mind games with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, having rattled his nemisys’ cage last season by branding the Frenchman a ‘specialist in failure.’

The pig-headed Portuguese was eating his words come May however when it so turned out that Arsenal won the FA Cup and Mourinho had failed to achieve the very thing he had returned to Chelsea to do – win the Champions League.

The 51-year-old will appear alongside fellow BT Sport ambassadors including Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale, Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and former Red Devil Rio Ferdinand over the course of the next football season.

Mourinho is very much looking forward to his exciting new role as a TV star and told the channel’s website: “I’m looking forward to working with BT Sport.

“In their first year they have shown they are not afraid to challenge, are open to new ideas and want to do things differently. This is the kind of team and ambition that I want to work with.”

Chelsea supporters on the other hand are very much hoping their gaffer gets his work priorities in check when he kicks off his Premier League campaign on Monday, August 18 against Burnley – having failed to score against lesser sides last season who employed his trademark tactic against him – ‘parking the bus.’
