Midfield man Gary Medel has almost completed his move to Italian side Inter Milan from Cardiff City, according to fresh reports.
The 26-year-old joined the Bluebirds last season in a club record deal but is set to move after the Welsh club suffered relegation to the Championship.
According to Tuttosport, Medel has already agreed to a five-year deal at Inter, earning around £1.75 million a season.
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan wanted to sell the former Sevilla player on a permanent deal so the Serie A outfit opened with a £7 million bid but Cardiff are hoping to get closer to the £11 million they paid for him.
Medel played 34 times for his club last season and filled in at centre-half during Chile’s 2014 World Cup campaign, in which they were knocked out by Brazil.
