Arsenal and United target goes up for sale

Guarin

Arsenal and Manchester United target Fredy Guarin has reportedly been made available for transfer by Inter Milan.

Italian source Tutto Mercato Web claims the Colombia international will be sold in the coming weeks as the San Siro giants need to raise funds for incoming deals.

Sources close to the Emirates Stadium and Old Trafford told Football Express News that Guarin has been on their radar for a number of months but until now he was deemed out of reach, not least because Inter successfully fought to keep him in January.

Back then Serie A champions Juventus were leading the pursuit of the player, but a switch to the Premier League is now a genuine possibility as Inter have significantly altered their stance.

Inter have a limited budget to spend on new players after missing out on Champions League qualification and owner Erick Thohir is resigned to the fact that one of his most valuable talents will have to be sacrificed in order to acquire fresh faces.

It means he will hold out for an outright sale and will not consider swap deals or loan offers from London or Manchester.

The 27-year-old is thought to be on a short vacation following his exploits for Colombia in the World Cup.
