Football Express News understands that Arsenal have made a final bid for Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Sami Khedira.
German World Cup winner Khedira was made aware of Arsenal’s interest last week whilst on international duty with his country in Brazil but his response gave Gunners fans little hope of a possible summer deal for the Real Madrid man.
Khedira missed the majority of last season due to injury and the impressive form of Luka Modric and his future at the Santiago Bernabeu was thought to be heavily debated.
The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal have both shown recent interest, with the latter having planned and submitted a £24m bid.
And, despite the midfielder’s wishes to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu, it is now thought that their signing of Toni Kroos could see him think twice, with Arsenal ready to tempt him with another bid.
Should he move to the Emirates stadium, he would join the likes of international team-mates – Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil.
