Barcelona’s summer sale has gathered pace this week, seeing three players leave the club in the space of 24 hours.

The La Liga giants appointed Luis Enrique as boss towards the back end of last season and the former midfielder’s plans have already started to take shape, seeing a number of players leave the Catalan club.

Winger Isaac Cuenca sparked a busy Thursday at Barcelona as he agreed to have his contract rescinded and join fellow Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.

Jonathan dos Santos was also allowed to leave, joining Villarreal, where he will now play alongside his brother and former Barca winger Giovani.

Alexis Sanchez was also sold late on Thursday night to Premier League side Arsenal, following Cesc Fabregas, who arrived back in London with Chelsea last month.

It is now expected that the likes of Xavi Hernandez, Ibrahim Afellay, Bojan and Cristian Tello could also be sold in the coming week.
