Khedira informs Arsenal of his intentions

German international Sami Khedira has informed any interested parties, including Arsenal, that he wants to remain with Real Madrid next season.

Khedira missed the majority of last season due to injury and the impressive form of Luka Modric and his future at the Santiago Bernabeu was thought to be heavily debated.

The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal have both shown recent interest, with the latter having planned and submitted a £24m bid.

However, Khedira, who is currently on international duty with the German national side in Brazil, has stated his intentions of staying with the Spanish side beyond the summer.

Spanish daily Marca report that Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is pleased with his midfield options and to add one more player, not lose one.

Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos is expected to make a move to the Bernabeu in the coming weeks after a deal was agreed between both clubs.
