Football Express News understands that Arsenal could include Joel Campbell in a deal for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy.

Campbell will arrive back in London to link up with Arsenal in the coming weeks after his country – Costa Rica failed to get past Netherlands in the World Cup quarter-finals.

But, despite calls from fans of the Premier League club for him to be given a chance at the Emirates stadium next season, it is understood that boss Arsene Wenger is keen to loan him out once more.

English clubs Everton, Newcastle United and Aston Villa have been linked but it is understood that the young forward could be loaned out to Queens Park Rangers in a deal which would see French striker Loic Remy move to Arsenal.

Former Marseille man Remy was on loan with Newcastle United last season and impressed heavily, scoring 14 Premier League goals and his performance gained interest from a number of top European clubs, including Arsenal.

Remy, who owns a home in London after his time with parent club QPR in the 2012/2013 season was frequent visitor to the Emirates stadium last season and held talks numerous occasions with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger about a summer move.

Those talks are said to have progressed well, but a fee between Arsenal and QPR is yet to be agreed, prompting interest from another London club – Tottenham Hotspur.

Remy is currently on international duty with the French national side at the Brazil World Cup and he is said to have held many discussions with Olivier Giroud over life at the North London club.

Wenger is keen to add Remy alongside Giroud and one other next season as he hopes to make a title push, following their FA Cup success last season.
