Football Express News understands that Bayern Munich are now interested in making a summer move for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The Chilean midfielder has firmly been linked with a summer move to Premier League side Manchester United with new boss Louis van Gaal said to be a keen admirer.

However, following an agreement between Real Madrid and German champions Bayern Munich over Toni Kroos has seen the Bundesliga side re-ignite their interest in Vidal.

Bayern boss Pep Guardiola wants to find a suitable replacement for Kroos, who is set to join Madrid in the coming weeks and had identified Vidal as the perfect option – following up his interest in the player which began whilst he was coach of Barcelona.

Vidal was expected to remain with Juventus next season and was buoyed by the addition of Alexis Sanchez, who was reportedly set to join the Italian side.

However, Alexis is now expected to seal a deal to Arsenal, seeing agent Fernando Felicevich, who represents both Chile internationals search for a new club for Vidal.
