AC Milan are interested in signing former Manchester United targets Mats Hummels or Diego Godin this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Man United’s play for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is seemingly allowing other European clubs to make a move for both Hummels and Godin.
Both centre backs have been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent times but it now looks like Ramos will be moving to the English club after he told Real Madrid of his ambitions to do so.
Italian giants AC Milan are keen to improve on a drastic few years in Serie A and are already said to have completed a deal to sign Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca.
The Serie A side have now labelled both Hummels and Godin as potential targets, and have made initial contact with Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid, respectively.
Neither defender is expected to leave for cheap after playing important parts for their clubs in recent seasons.
