Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal looks set to join Arsenal this summer as reports in Chile claim he is at the end of a £21million deal with the club.

Currently on international duty competing at the Copa America, the Chile star has sparked interest from a number of top Premier League clubs including Manchester United.

However, according to the Chilean newspaper La Stampa, it is Arsenal who have agreed a deal to sign the midfielder in a reported £21million transfer, which is suggested to be finalised at the end of Copa America.

Vidal has had three seasons at Juventus, making a name for himself as a hardworking box-to-box midfielder and highly-rated player. He has bagged 35 goals in his time in Italy but has been praised more so for his defensive contributions to the squad.

Having been linked with Arsenal for most of the summer, it is suggested that the new signing of Sami Khedira for Juventus has been the spark to get the ball rolling with Vidal’s move to the gunners.

28 year old Vidal started in Juventus’s 3-1 loss to Barcelona in the 2015 Champions League Final but impressed throughout and will fit perfectly into Arsène Wenger’s set up as he continues to strengthen his squad.
