The Bosnian international keeper is 27-years-old, and has one year left on his current contract at Stoke where he has been first choice goalkeeper since 2010 making 160 appearances and one goal. The player is believed to be interested in the move, however has some concerns over being a second choice keeper to Thibaut Courtois. Chelsea have offered a lucrative salary and have been keen to point out that Cech made 16 appearances last season, and want Begovic to play a similar amount. However, it is understood that the Blues have been told to pay £8m and include Nigerian winger Victor Moses in the deal.
