Tottenham will name Hugo Lloris their captain for next season with Harry Kane taking the vice captaincy in an attempt to convince the pair to reject interest from Manchester United, according to Daily Mirror.
Manchester United have been linked with a number of players this summer but Harry Kane is a name that has been mentioned again and again.
It’s no secret that the Red Devils are in the market for a striker, after choosing not to keep Radamel Falcao at the club and with Robin van Persie’s future still very unclear – the Old Trafford club have been monitoring Kane’s situation at White Hart Lane.
Much like Kane, Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris has also been linked with United seeing him as the perfect replacement for Real Madrid bound David De Gea.
However, in a sharp bid to fend of United’s interest – Spurs officials are set to hand Lloris the captaincy next season and make Kane vice-captain.
