John Obi Mikel wants to leave Chelsea this summer, according to Sky Sports News.
It is reported that the Nigeria international, who started 18 games for the Premier League champions last season – has been told that he has a future at the club.
However, reports in England claim that the midfielder wants to leave the club after losing his place to Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas and it is reported that he has spoken with United Arab Emirates side Al Ain about a summer move.
The 28-year-old, who has been capped 64 times by his country, has made 224 appearances since moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2006.
There has been no comment from Chelsea who refuse to be drawn on speculation about the midfielder’s availability.
