Manchester United will make an official bid for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, according to L’Equipe.
The 28-year-old only signed a new five-year contract at White Hart Lane last summer, but the goal-stopper’s future at the club has since become increasingly doubtful.
The France international has attracted attention from all over Europe with links with clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and United, who would be keen to make a move if they lose current number one David De Gea to Real Madrid.
Spurs have been seen to be preparing for Lloris’ departure as they signed Michel Vorm from Swansea last summer to fill the spot.
De Gea has been offered the chance to remain at United, but it is expected that he will return to Madrid, making Lloris’ desire to leave Spurs a possibility.
And, it is understood by our sources that a deal is in place between United and Spurs for the deal to go ahead, should De Gea leave this summer.
