Everton youngster to join Bournemouth on loan

Luke Garbutt will sign a new five-year deal at Everton before moving to Bournemouth on a season-long loan, according to Guardian.

22-year-old England youngster Garbutt is expected to have a bright future in the professional game, having made a handful of appearances for Everton last season.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen to keep hold of the young defender this summer after reported interest from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

Garbutt is expected to sign a new five year deal to remain at Goodison Park but Martinez has told the youngster he wants him to leave on loan to gain valuable experience.

And, it is understood that he will move to Premier League new-boys Bournemouth this summer.

Garbutt, is currently with the England Under-21s for the European Championships in the Czech Republic.
