Manchester City are ready to submit a £40m bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, Football Express News understands.
Problems on and off the field for England midfielder Jack Wilshere have seen his time at Arsenal be heavily debated in recent months.
Wilshere has been unable to impact Arsenal‘s season after more troubling injury problems, whilst his behaviour off the field has been less than impressive.
And, that has now led to a number of reports in England claiming that Manchester City could make a summer move for the England international.
Arsenal are now keen to stop him from leaving the club and still trust in his ability by offering him a new and improved deal, worth almost £150,000-a-week.
However, a £40m bid is said to have been prepared by City over the past few days, matched with a contract worth at least £150k.
Arsene Wenger’s resolve to keep Wilshere is unknown, but £40m extra to his transfer funds this summer seems too good to turn down…. Do you think Wilshere will join Man City?
