Football Express News understands that Juventus are setting a date for Chelsea midfielder Oscar to undergo a medical and complete a £18m move.
The Italian champions are keen to improve their midfield options ahead of the possible sale of Paul Pogba, who has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs.
Juve officials have sent feelers out to a number of potential replacements but it is now understood that Chelsea‘s Brazilian midfielder Oscar is top of their wishlist and is close to a summer move.
The Brazil international joined Chelsea in 2012 and has made a big impact but his chances of starting in Jose Mourinho’s line-up have taken a dent after the January signing of Colombian Juan Cuadrado and other potential summer targets.
The 23-year-old, who has featured 43 times for his country is now said to have agreed terms with Juve and a date is being set for his medical at the Turin based side.
Oscar is available after not being selected for his country’s Copa America squad.
