Football Express News understands that Barcelona have made a €63M bid for Liverpool’s star striker Luis Suarez.
A source inside Barcelona informed FEN that Barcelona have submitted a bid for Uruguayan striker Suarez in the region believed to be €63M (£50.2M)
Suarez, who is currently serving a four month ban after ‘biting’ Italy defender Giorgio Cheillini – was last seasons top scorer in the Premier League netting 31 goals in 33 games and the Catalan side have held him in high regard since the season ended.
Talk of a move developed significantly at the beginning of the World Cup, with many reports stating that the former Ajax man would love a move to Barcelona, which would see him move closer to his wife’s family, who live in Castelfedells, a short drive from the Catalan capital.
Our source added that Suarez is of ‘World Class’ standard and that he would be ‘perfect’ for the club.
Liverpool, who instantly rejected Barca’s approach for their Uruguayan superstar is said to have a price tag of around €80M (£63M).
