Man United given price for Monaco full-back Fabinho

Manchester United have been told that they must pay £15 million in order to land Fabinho from Monaco, according to Daily Mirror.

The Brazilian youngster is understood to have held tentative talks with Old Trafford bosses over a £15m move.

Fabinho joined French side Monaco on a permanent deal from Real Madrid last summer after an initial loan spell, in which he impressed to a high level.

United have missed out on two transfer targets this summer which they deemed as suitable options to improve their right back area.

Dani Alves of Barcelona was subject to interest before penning a new deal to remain at the Camp Nou, whilst Nathaniel Clyne of Southampton has also been linked.

The latter now seems to closing in on a move to Liverpool, leading to United’s interest in Fabinho.

 

The defender has two caps for Brazil and was included in coach Dunga’s 23-man squad for the Copa America.
