West Brom are keen on moves for Besiktas striker Demba Ba and QPR winger Matt Phillips, according to Birmingham Mail.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis is keen to improve his attacking options ahead of next season to avoid a similar struggle and has labelled both Ba and Phillips as his top transfer targets.

Ba, who was set to become a Pulis player four years ago for Stoke City, played in the Premier League for both Newcastle United and Chelsea before leaving for Turkish club Fenerbahce last season.

The Senegalese striker is said to be open on a move back to England, where he enjoyed a fruitful period.

Phillips is also keen to return to the Premier League after being relegated with Queens Park Rangers last season and could be available for around the £5m mark.
