Juventus have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid to sign striker Mario Mandzukic this summer, according to AS.
Croatian striker Mandzukic had been expected to fill the boots of Radamel Falcao at Old Trafford this summer, but his move to England has been thrown into massive doubt after an agreement was made with Juventus to join the Italian side.
Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has been forced to search for a new striker after seeing Carlos Tevez decide to leave the club and Mandzukic has been chosen as the perfect replacement.
The former Bayern Munich striker had a relatively good first season for Spanish side Atletico Madrid but the return of boyhood hero Fernando Torres saw him see a lack of playing time after the Winter transfer window.
Keen on a move to either England or Italy, Mandzukic is now ready to join Juventus and help them seal another Serie A title and replicate the success that saw them qualify for the Champions League final, losing to Barcelona in June.
