Southampton want £24m for midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin who is wanted by Manchester United and Arsenal this summer, Daily Mirror reports.
A number of Premier League sides have been labelled with interest in Southampton’s impressive French midfielder this season, with Arsenal and Man United at the forefront of interested clubs.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman is somewhat resigned to losing his defensive midfielder, despite offering him a new deal in recent months.
His sale is firmly expected with Koeman keen to look for a suitable replacement in the coming weeks.
However, the French international will not leave if interested clubs do not pay his £24m asking price.
The St. Mary’s club remain adamant that the 25-year-old is worth that amount and will not accept anything less.
It is understood that the Arsenal are willing to spend up to £20m, whilst United are moving away from making a summer bid.
