Roma prepared to beat off Man United in Bacca race

Roma boss Rudi Garcia is ready to splash the cash and sign Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Manchester United want to bolster there attack, as off form Radamel Falcao returned to parent club Monaco after an unsuccessful loan spell and it was understood that they had made significant moves to sign the Sevilla striker.

Bacca played an instrumental part in the Spanish side’s win over Dnipro in the Europa League final after scoring two goals.

Italian side AC Milan, Valencia, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked, but it is Roma who are joining the Red Devils with keen interested.

Roma boss Rudi Garcia is keen to push Juventus this season and mount a solid Serie A title challenge.

Sevilla are unlikely to sell for a cheap price and reports from Spain claim that they are asking for around £20m.
