Radamel Falcao will reject a move to Chelsea and sign for Liverpool, according to Daily Star.
After a string of poor performances for United this season and a lack of playing time under Louis van Gaal, Falcao was sent back to Ligue 1 side Monaco earlier this week.
Having signed on a one-year loan deal last summer, the Colombian was fully expected to secure a permanent move to United, but failed to live up to their expectations, scoring just four goals.
Super agent Jorge Mendes has recently stated that the former Atletico Madrid striker would join an ‘elite’ club and it is understood that he is now working on a potential move to either Chelsea or Liverpool.
Mendes has close connections with Blues boss Mourinho after the latter’s time at Real Madrid and the Portuguese agent is now trying to convince him to sign Falcao and give him a chance in English football.
However, reports now claim that the Colombian will reject a move to Stamford Bridge to have more playing time with Liverpool.
Juventus are also interested, whilst Tottenham Hotspur have been linked.
